Your Role in the SMR Division
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll be part of the Shepherd’s Bush cluster, covering areas like Shepherd’s Bush, Hammersmith, Acton, Kensington, Fulham, and Chiswick. Your day will start with a clear digital schedule, allowing you to focus on:
- Routine servicing
- Advanced diagnostics using mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Providing member advice and recommendations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and advanced diagnostics at your disposal, you’ll have everything you need to deliver quality work efficiently.

What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
