Contract: 14-month Fixed Term, maternity cover - 35 hours per week
Salary: £23,500 per annum

Your Role
We are excited to welcome an Accounts Assistant to our expanding team at our head office in Bromsgrove. In this role, you will provide comprehensive and flexible accounts processing and administrative support within the management accounts team and the wider finance department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts for assigned entities.
- Reconcile and substantiate balance sheet accounts as directed by the Finance Manager.
- Manage cashflow, purchase cards, and the petty cash process.
- Input and approve outgoing payments from the group.
- Build effective relationships to maintain a strong financial control environment.
- Continuously strive for process improvement and efficiency across functions.
- Develop your skills through professional studies and hands-on experience.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience or understanding of accounts payable/receivable and management accounts production is a plus.
- Experience in a finance function within a large organization is advantageous.
- AAT Part Qualified is desirable.
