Qualifications
Essential criteria
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of further study up to and including degree or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3
Experience
Essential criteria
- Microsoft Office Experience
- Experience of working within an acute healthcare setting
- Ability to use complex software packages and of databases
- Previous administration experience
Desirable criteria
- MDT/project management background
- Experience of working in a radiology setting
- Experience of drug treatment services
- Previous experience of working in the community
- Previous experience of working with people within areas of deprivation or those with alcohol or substance use problems
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Understanding of patient's pathway of care through an acute trust setting
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Understanding of data collection process
- Knowledge of data protection
Desirable criteria
- Understanding of medical terminology relating to hepatology
- Understanding of blood-borne viruses (specifically hepatitis C)
- Knowledge of drug treatment services
