Are you ready to take on an exciting new role at Butlin's? The Supervisor Plus position is your chance to shine! As the main point of contact for your team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our operational standards are top-notch and that our guests have an unforgettable experience.
In this hands-on role, you’ll report directly to the Manager and be responsible for executing daily operational plans. Your leadership will ensure that tasks are completed efficiently, and that your team is in the right place at the right time to meet our guests' needs.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as the operational leader, guiding your team to achieve key tasks and objectives.
- Coach your team to meet departmental targets, such as retail upselling.
- Oversee CAFF audits in accommodation and other departmental audits as needed.
- Drive add-on sales and promotions to enhance guest experiences.
- Ensure all stock is available and ready for our guests.
- Monitor the delivery of a quality guest experience in line with brand guidelines.
- Capture and act on guest feedback to continuously improve our services.
- Foster strong relationships across the resort and with central support teams.
- Support the department's people tasks, from onboarding to performance management.
- Champion effective communication within your area to ensure smooth operations.
Role Details
The Supervisor Plus will primarily focus on accommodation on our intake days (Monday and Friday) but will also flexibly support other departments throughout the week. Your goal? To ensure our guests receive an amazing experience every day!
Key Focus Areas
1. Food Safety Champion
- Lead by example in maintaining the highest food safety standards.
- Ensure all team members follow procedures for safe food handling and hygiene.
- Promote a culture of food safety responsibility among the team.
2. Creating a Warm, Welcoming Dining Experience
- Greet guests with a friendly, personalized welcome that reflects our brand.
- Maintain a comfortable and relaxed environment for families.
- Resolve guest queries and issues promptly and professionally.
3. Coaching & Developing the Team
- Provide on-the-job coaching to build team confidence and capability.
- Support new team members with structured training on standards and expectations.
- Encourage a positive team culture where everyone feels valued.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent leadership skills with a knack for coaching and supporting your team.
- Strong attention to detail for audit and observation activities.
- Experience in guest-facing roles, handling queries and complaints effectively.
- Proven ability to drive sales and promotions to meet key objectives.
- Experience in working with multi-skilled teams to adapt to guest demand.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- A flexible approach to managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
