Your Rewarding Role
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Base Salary: £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with on-target earnings of up to £57,000.
- Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your earnings with additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- Structured Hours: 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Daily Adventure
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, and you’ll be responsible for:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Providing member advice and recommendations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
From day one, you’ll have everything you need: a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set, and advanced diagnostics. Your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will help keep our members moving safely and confidently.
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
