At FCA, we believe in making a difference. Founded in 1994 by a former foster parent and social worker, we are one of the UK's largest independent fostering agencies. Here, you’re not just an employee; you’re part of a family dedicated to supporting children and foster parents every day.
Your Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and making a positive impact in their lives. As part of a small, dedicated team, you will help deliver our Participation Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize engaging activities and workshops for children in our care and those who foster.

- Provide guidance to families to promote stable foster placements.
About You:

- Experience with children who have faced trauma is a plus.
- A relevant qualification in childcare, education, social work, or psychology is ideal.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with children and adults from diverse backgrounds.
- You remain calm under pressure and can handle emotionally challenging situations.
- Strong written skills and intermediate IT proficiency (Microsoft Office and databases).
- A full driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential.

- 30 days of Annual Leave (increasing to 35 with service) + Bank Holidays.
- Company Pension and Life Assurance (x2).
- Employee Discount Scheme and On-site Parking.
At FCA, we are part of the Polaris group, a family of independent fostering agencies united by a shared vision: to support children who have faced challenges in life, helping them build a brighter future. For our foster parents, we provide a supportive network that feels like family.
