As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.

What We Offer:

• A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £50,000.
• Guaranteed overtime options to boost your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
• Work a 40-hour week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5 pm, and just 1 in 4 Saturdays.

What We’re Looking For:

• You’re Someone Who Gets People: Our mechanics are out there on driveways, chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride.
• You Like Mixing Things Up: Every day is different—servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks. You’ll manage your stock and keep those customer conversations flowing.
• You Think on Your Feet: You’ll be trusted to make the right call for each customer, facing new challenges every day.

What You’ll Need:

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years’ hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
