As a Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. Imagine delivering first-class service from driveways to office car parks, all without the constraints of a traditional garage!
Your Earnings and Flexibility
We offer a competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £50,000. Plus, you have the option for guaranteed overtime, which can boost your base salary to £44,385!
- 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
- Opt-in Guaranteed Overtime: After your first month, choose to work extra rest days at £30 per hour. Just one extra day a month could earn you an additional £3,000 per year!

What We’re Looking For
You’re not just a mechanic; you’re a people person. You’ll be out there on driveways, chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years’ hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
