As the main point of contact for your team, you will drive operational success and ensure that our guests have an unforgettable experience. Reporting to the Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Your Role in a Nutshell

The Supervisor Plus will primarily focus on accommodation during our busy intake days on Monday and Friday, while also flexibly supporting other departments throughout the week. Your mission? To ensure our guests receive the best service possible!

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Be hands-on in guiding your team to achieve key tasks and objectives.
  • Coaching: Mentor your team to meet departmental targets, including retail upselling.
  • Audits: Oversee CAFF audits in accommodation and other departmental audits.
  • Guest Experience: Monitor and enhance the quality of guest experiences in line with brand guidelines.
  • Feedback Management: Capture and act on guest feedback to improve services.
  • Team Communication: Ensure effective communication between management and team members.
  • People Support: Assist with onboarding and employee lifecycle tasks.

Key Focus Areas Outside of Accommodation

In addition to your accommodation duties, you will also support our Restaurants and Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs). Here’s what you’ll focus on:

1. Championing Food Safety

  • Lead by example in applying food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure team compliance with procedures, including allergen management.

2. Delivering a Warm, Welcoming Experience

  • Ensure every guest receives a friendly welcome.
  • Resolve concerns quickly to maintain a positive atmosphere.

3. Coaching & Developing the Team

  • Provide on-shift coaching to enhance guest interaction and service flow.
  • Support new team members with structured introductions.

4. Driving Upselling of Starters & Desserts

  • Encourage the team to recommend add-ons during guest interactions.
  • Celebrate team successes to boost motivation.

5. Increasing Wet Sales

  • Ensure quick drink orders are taken when seating guests.
  • Coach the team on effective beverage service.

6. Effective Checkbacks

  • Empower team members to address guest satisfaction proactively.

7. Celebrating Success

  • Recognize and share great performances to foster a positive team culture.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Completion of audits in accommodation and other departments.
  • Team training compliance.
  • Guest NPS & Feedback.
  • Retail Spend and upselling success.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong leadership skills with a knack for coaching.
  • Attention to detail for audit and observation activities.
  • Experience in guest-facing roles and handling queries.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
