Location & Hours

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday

Your Impact

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be at the heart of our projects, managing the commercial aspects and collaborating with our talented teams to deliver exceptional building solutions. You’ll have the chance to work on a variety of refurbishment and building safety projects, typically valued between £5m and £15m. Your expertise will not only maximize project value but also foster strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Manage commercial resources and maximize project margins through effective contract placement and control.
• Tender, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors, consultants, and place orders for materials and plant.
• Identify, negotiate, and agree on project variations with customers and suppliers.
• Measure, value, and agree on work progress to support invoicing and payment processes.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and the supply chain.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

• You possess clear communication skills and have experience working effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and supply chain partners.
• You hold relevant qualifications (a Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable) and have experience in a similar role.
• You are organized, able to prioritize effectively, and comfortable working to deadlines.
• You are flexible, capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• You are confident using IT packages, including Microsoft Office, and are eager to embrace ongoing training and development.
