Our approach is unique and therapeutic, involving a collaborative network of social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists. Together, we empower foster parents and children to navigate even the most complex situations.
Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of up to £39,500 per annum, along with a generous £3,000 car allowance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to foster parents, managing a realistic caseload for effective supervision.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions, monitoring practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making.
- Maintain high standards through quality assurance and training for both prospective and current foster parents.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is:
- Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents and their invaluable skills.
- Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Knowledgeable about relevant legislation in children's services.
- Capable of excellent report writing and meeting strict deadlines.
- Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Possesses a full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.
Working Conditions
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that requires dedication and a proactive approach. You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.
