Your Role as a Mobile Mechanic

As a Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers—whether they’re at home or at work. You’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage, equipped with:

• Your own RAC van
• Fuel card
• Full uniform

• Diagnostic kit

What We’re Looking For

You’re not just a mechanic; you’re a people person. Our mechanics engage with customers, providing advice and representing the RAC with pride. Here’s what you’ll need:

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
