What We Offer

Enjoy a competitive base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with on-target earnings of up to £57,000. Plus, we offer:

Your Work Environment

As part of the Streatham cluster, you’ll cover areas like Streatham, Brixton, Tulse Hill, West Norwood, Dulwich, and Sydenham. You’ll be out on the road, working through a clearly planned schedule of appointments, allowing you to focus on delivering quality work.

Your Daily Tasks

Your day starts with a clear digital schedule, and each job is pre-booked. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Routine servicing
  • Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
  • In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
  • Providing member advice and recommendations
  • Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards

With SMR, you’ll have the time and tools to do the job right, without the pressure of reactive breakdowns.

What You’ll Need

  • Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
