Your Work Environment
Based in the Bournemouth cluster, you’ll cover areas like Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch. Forget emergency callouts! You’ll work through a planned schedule of appointments, allowing you to focus on delivering quality service.
Your Daily Tasks
Each day begins with a clear digital schedule, where you’ll handle:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Member advice and recommendations based on inspections
- Vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and tool set at your disposal, you’ll have everything you need to get people moving safely and confidently.

What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
