Contract Type: Part-Time, Term Time Only

Salary: £19,790.40 FTE

  • 20 hours per week - £11,308.90 (3pm - 7pm, Monday - Friday)
  • 10 hours per week - £5,654.40 (3pm - 5pm, Monday - Friday)

Contract: Fixed Term, Term Time Only

Location: Brampton, Cumbria

We are excited to invite an experienced Cleaner to join our friendly local team. If you have a keen eye for detail, uphold high standards, and are committed to delivering your best every day, this role could be the perfect fit for you!

Role Responsibilities

  • Vacuum cleaning and mopping floors
  • Emptying and cleaning bins
  • Cleaning toilets and bathroom spaces
  • Replenishing bathroom supplies
  • Dusting, polishing, and straightening furniture and cupboard tops
  • Tidying communal areas and ensuring hazards are removed
  • Wiping down paintwork, including skirting boards and window ledges

About You

  • Previous professional experience in cleaning a large commercial building, preferably in a school, college, or university
  • Able to lift and move heavy equipment
  • Flexible approach to work and willing to undertake all reasonable cleaning tasks
  • Proficient in using a wide range of cleaning equipment and products
  • A confident and clear communicator
  • Willing to undergo training in health & safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding practices

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, with the cost covered by Kirby Moor School.
