Your Role as a Mobile Mechanic
As a Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they may be. Imagine delivering first-class service from driveways to office car parks, all while enjoying the freedom of working outside a traditional garage!
We’ll equip you for success from day one with:
- Your own RAC van
- A fuel card
- Full uniform
- Essential tools and diagnostic kit

What We’re Looking For
We want someone who gets people. Our mechanics are out there on driveways, chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride. You’re not just in the RAC—you are the RAC!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a vehicle technician
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
