As the main point of contact for your team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards and compliance across the department. You’ll be the hands-on operational driver of success, reporting directly to the Manager and ensuring that daily operational plans are executed flawlessly.
Your primary focus will be on accommodation during our busy intake days on Monday and Friday, with flexibility to support other departments throughout the week. Your mission? To ensure our guests enjoy an amazing experience while we manage fluctuating demand and uphold our operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Be the hands-on leader, ensuring your team effectively meets all key tasks and objectives.
- Coaching: Guide your team to achieve departmental targets, including retail upselling.
- Audits: Take responsibility for CAFF audits in accommodation and other departmental audits.
- Sales Promotion: Drive add-on sales and ensure all stock is available for guests.
- Guest Experience: Monitor the quality of guest experiences and capture feedback.
- Team Development: Coach and develop your team to meet departmental plans.
- Communication Champion: Ensure effective communication between managers and teams.
- People Support: Assist with onboarding and employee lifecycle tasks.
Role Details
Supervisor Plus – Costa
In addition to accommodation responsibilities, you will also support our Restaurants and Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs). Here’s what you’ll focus on:
1. Championing Food Safety
- Lead by example in applying food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure team members follow correct procedures, including allergen management.
- Foster a culture where food safety is valued by every team member.
2. Delivering a Warm, Welcoming Experience
- Ensure every guest receives a friendly, engaging welcome.
- Create a relaxed, family-friendly environment.
- Resolve concerns quickly and confidently.
3. Coaching & Developing the Team
- Provide on-shift coaching for effective guest interaction.
- Support new team members with structured introductions.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
4. Driving Upselling of Starters & Desserts
- Coach the team to recommend starters and desserts during guest conversations.
- Celebrate individual and team successes to build motivation.
5. Increasing Wet Sales
- Drive wet sales by ensuring quick drink orders.
- Monitor service flow and support during peak times.
6. Effective Checkbacks
- Ensure timely checkbacks to confirm guest satisfaction.
- Empower team members to solve issues early.
7. Celebrating Success
- Recognize great performance to build a positive team culture.
- Create an environment where team members feel valued.
