Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 per annum, based on experience

Your Role
As our Principal Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our agency and the lives of the children we serve. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and deputizing for the Registered Manager as needed
- Supervising team members to ensure effective functioning
- Empowering foster parents to reach their full potential
- Monitoring compliance with fostering standards
- Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and professionals to prioritize safeguarding and positive outcomes
- Joining an out-of-hours rota to provide managerial support to Social Workers
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced social worker who is passionate about making a difference. You should have:
- A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly those who are Looked After
- A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and fostering standards
- A full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car
Additionally, strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safeguarding are essential. You should be comfortable working autonomously while also being an effective team player.
