Your Role
As a Casual Residential Support Worker, you will be an integral part of our team in Southampton. Each day will bring new challenges and rewards as you:
- Support young people with their daily routines
- Build positive relationships and become a trusted adult
- Help them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
- Ensure they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day
Experience working with children or young people is a plus, but it’s not a requirement. What matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine desire to help others. We’ll provide comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident in your role from day one.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards it
- Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car, as travel is required
- Be friendly and able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues
- Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)
