Your Role in SMR
In this role, you’ll experience:
- No Emergency Callouts: Focus on scheduled jobs rather than unpredictable shifts.
- Organized Workflow: Work through a planned list of appointments in your local area, covering places like Derby, Burton-upon-Trent, and more.
- Quality Work: Carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, in-depth repairs, and vehicle safety checks—all with the time and tools you need.
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
