This is an exciting chance to be part of our Building Solutions South team, working on a secured environments project with a key client. You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality construction projects valued between £5m - £15m. Collaborate with our experienced team to ensure commercial success and foster strong client relationships. We’re looking for someone who is collaborative, proactive, and eager to grow in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- Manage project finances to maximize gross margin and support budgeted profitability.
- Tender, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Measure, value, and agree on work to support invoicing and payments.
- Identify and negotiate contract variations with clients and the supply chain.
- Produce monthly commercial reports and accurate cost forecasts.
What We’re Looking For:
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Have experience in a similar quantity surveying role within construction.
- Hold a relevant qualification (degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable).
- Possess strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships with diverse teams.
- Are organized, detail-focused, and able to work collaboratively towards shared goals.
- Are comfortable using IT packages, including Microsoft Office, and are keen to continue your professional development.
