Your Work Schedule
- 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
- 1 in 4 Saturdays required.

Your Daily Tasks
Your day will kick off with a clear digital schedule, and you’ll be responsible for:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Providing member advice and recommendations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With SMR, you’ll have the time and resources to deliver quality work, supported by a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and advanced diagnostics tools.

What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
