Your Role at a Glance
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Base Salary: Starting at £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with on-target earnings of up to £57,000.
- Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your earnings with optional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- Structured Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and just 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Where You’ll Work
You’ll be part of the Slough cluster, covering areas like Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, Marlow, High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, and Gerrards Cross. Enjoy the freedom of working in your local area with a well-organized schedule!
Your Daily Tasks
Your day will start with a clear digital schedule, and you’ll be responsible for:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Providing member advice and recommendations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
