Our Integrated Service Programme (ISP) offers a comprehensive range of support services, ensuring that children and foster parents have access to the resources they need. Our team includes social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all working collaboratively to provide a therapeutic approach to fostering.
Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:
- Provide direct support to foster parents, managing a realistic caseload that allows for high-quality supervision.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions with allocated foster parents, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is:
- Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents and their invaluable skills.
- Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- A strong report writer, capable of meeting strict deadlines.
- Possessing a full driving licence and unrestricted access to your own car.
Essential Qualifications
- A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Previous experience in children and families social work.
- A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to children’s services.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, permanent position that includes:
- A £3,000 car allowance.
- 30 days of annual leave, increasing to 35 days with length of service, plus bank holidays.
