What You’ll Do
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Support young people with their daily routines
- Build positive relationships and become a trusted adult
- Help them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
- Ensure they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day
Working Pattern
Your role will involve a shift rota, with each shift lasting 24 hours. You’ll be compensated for sleep-in shifts and typically work two to three shifts in a row, mixing weekdays and weekends. Plus, there’s the opportunity for overtime if you’re interested!
Requirements for the Role
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards it
- Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car, as travel is required
- Be friendly and able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues
- Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)
