Your Role as a Referrals Officer

As a Referrals Officer, you will be the vital link between local authorities, foster families, and social workers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing referrals from local authorities and ensuring careful matching of placements based on children’s needs.
• Using your initiative to find creative solutions for foster placement requests.
• Building positive relationships through effective communication, both written and face-to-face.

We are looking for someone with:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families.
• Experience in the children’s services sector (preferred but not essential).
