What will the role involve?

• Assist in the Design, development, implementation and testing of technical solutions based on business requirements.
• Actively contribute to the wider IT strategy, striving to deliver stabilisation and continuous improvement - process and technology.
• Responsible for the maintenance of the IT infrastructure using the latest technology.
• Put together and install infrastructure components on networks and servers, ensure that the technical performance aspects in the infrastructure environment are optimised, including database, network, and application server performance.
• Comply with governance procedures and strive to improve smartly and effectively.
• Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and clearly document the design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks.
• Create reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar infrastructure role, with strong infrastructure design skills incorporating security, service, and operational considerations, including guiding appropriate levels of operational acceptance testing
• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, with experience monitoring, maintaining, and automating infrastructure environments
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with Office 365, Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory, SAN/NAS, Azure, and LAN networking including switch configuration
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
• Confident in managing priorities and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
