Your Role
As the Registered Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children and young people. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the welfare and safeguarding of each child.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations and leading staff practice.
- Driving continuous improvement in line with Area Camden's standards and regulations.
- Maintaining robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency collaboration.
- Supervising and mentoring staff, organizing work patterns, and delivering care-focused training.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A Leadership and Management qualification (or a willingness to work towards one) along with NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
- Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding regulations.
- Experience in managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
- A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
What We Offer
- 32 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing by 1 day per year for the first three years.
