As we expand to accommodate growing pupil numbers in our Lower School (ages 7-13), we invite you to be part of this exciting journey!
With class sizes capped at 6 pupils, each classroom is supported by a qualified teacher and up to 2 teaching assistants. We cater to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as various diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and more.
Your Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to make a real impact in the lives of our pupils while enhancing your own teaching skills in a rewarding environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Supporting the class team to facilitate learning and promote positive behaviors.
- Monitoring pupil progress and collaborating with staff to meet individual needs.
- Supervising pupils during non-classroom activities and trips.
- Building positive relationships to support learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree-level education
- Experience teaching GCSE Science at the secondary level
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
- Strong behavior management skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
