Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility available, just let us know when we chat!

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a portfolio of design and build projects on the Yorkshire Water AMP8 Complex Non-Infrastructure Framework. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead commercial and contractual management: Identify and mitigate risks effectively.
• Manage target cost contracts: Oversee forecasting, cost/value reporting, and final accounts.
• Maximize cash flow: Enhance profitability and value through effective change control and procurement.
• Oversee subcontract management: Handle placement, valuation, payment, and financial performance.
• Provide insights: Deliver commercial insights and financial updates to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members: Foster a positive, inclusive team culture.

What We’re Looking For

We seek passionate individuals who bring experience and enthusiasm to the table. Here’s what you’ll need:

• Proven experience: In a Senior Quantity Surveyor (or similar) role within construction, civils, or utilities.
• Strong NEC contract experience: Familiarity with Target Cost mechanisms is essential.
• Framework delivery experience: Experience in the utilities or water sector is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills: A client-facing communicator with strong commercial judgement.
