Your Role
As a Referrals Officer, you will be the vital link between local authorities, foster families, and social workers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing referrals from local authorities and ensuring placements are matched according to children's needs.
- Using your initiative to find creative solutions for foster placement requests.
- Building positive relationships through effective communication, both written and face-to-face.
- Working independently while also being a collaborative team member.
What We’re Looking For
We seek individuals who are:
- Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families.
- Possessing excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Effective communicators with the ability to develop strong relationships.
- Experienced in the children’s services sector (preferred but not essential).
Don’t worry if you’re new to this role; we provide a comprehensive induction and full training to set you up for success!
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Sheffield office. You will enjoy:
- A competitive salary of £23,535.26 per annum.
- 30 days of annual leave (increasing to 35 days with length of service) plus Bank Holidays.
