Salary: Up to £37,500 plus SEN allowance of £2,679

Contract: Full time, term time only

With class sizes capped at 6 pupils, each classroom is supported by a qualified teacher and up to 2 teaching assistants. We cater to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and various diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and more. Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Secondary Science GCSE Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Support the class team in facilitating learning and promoting positive behaviors.
  • Monitor pupil progress and collaborate with staff to meet individual needs.
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities and trips.
  • Build positive relationships to enhance learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A degree-level education
  • Experience teaching GCSE Science at the secondary level
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
  • Strong behavior management skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
  • A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
