Your Role

As our School Administrator, you will be the welcoming face of Easthorpe School, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Your responsibilities will include:

Reception Duties

  • Greet parents, visitors, and colleagues with warmth and professionalism.
  • Manage phone calls and messages effectively.
  • Ensure visitor safety by managing sign-ins and badges.
  • Maintain the shared calendar and keep school information up to date.
  • Support with resource ordering and deliveries.

Administrative Support

You'll provide essential administrative support to our Headteacher and the school management team:

  • Draft letters and memos.
  • Maintain filing systems and assist with photocopying.
  • Input data into our management systems (Ed:gen and CPOMS).
  • Manage school correspondence and maintain accurate records.

Attendance Management

Help us track and improve student attendance:

  • Monitor attendance and punctuality.
  • Communicate with parents regarding absenteeism.
  • Generate attendance reports and certificates.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience with Ed:gen and CPOMS.
  • A commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding practices.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
