  • Providing day-to-day guidance and acting as a first point of contact for staff queries
  • Supporting staff through supervision, observation and development activities

Quality, compliance and service delivery:
  • Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Promoting and maintaining health and safety standards within the service
  • Overseeing medication processes, records and reporting systems
  • Supporting reviews, reporting and continuous improvement

Supporting the management team:
  • Assisting with rota management, staffing cover and absence support
  • Supporting service reviews, support plans and outcome tracking
  • Working with families, professionals and external agencies

Chloe, Support Worker:

"You don't become a support worker unless you want to help people and make a difference to someone's life. That's what made me want to do this job - I have always been a caring person and I wanted to help give people with learning disabilities a voice."

Alan, Support Worker:

"FitzRoy is such an incredible place to work, everyone really cares about the people we support. I am genuinely passionate about improving their quality of life, and when you see the people we support achieving a goal I feel immense job satisfaction."
