About Us

Apple Orchard operates five residential children's homes across Surrey and West Sussex, providing therapeutic environments for boys aged 12-18. Our mission is to create calm, nurturing spaces where children can heal from trauma and build the confidence they need for a brighter future.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Salary: Up to £32,623.97, including sleep-in shifts.

Your Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be a trusted adult in the lives of the children we care for. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a safe and nurturing home environment.
  • Supporting daily routines, education, and activities that build confidence.
  • Building stable, trusting relationships as a positive role model.
  • Using therapeutic approaches to help children through challenging moments.
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records of progress and achievements.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure high standards of care.

What We're Looking For

We seek individuals who are:

  • Passionate: A genuine desire to make a positive impact in children's lives.
  • Resilient: Able to stay calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
  • Flexible: Willing to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Licensed: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to rural locations.

Experience in childcare, education, or similar settings is helpful but not essential. We value the right attitude and willingness to learn!
