Your New Role
As a Graphics Specialist within the COE AR/VR/GFX team, you will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for:
- Providing Global Support: Offering 3rd Level Engineering support, including on-call shifts for emergencies.
- Researching New Technologies: Participating in the selection and implementation of cutting-edge solutions.
- Documentation: Ensuring comprehensive documentation is available for all COE participants.
- Training: Overseeing and training Tier 2 support staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Laboratory Testing: Conduct tests on new software versions, track bugs, and monitor hardware for graphic systems.
- Support: Troubleshoot issues, manage tickets, and be available for global emergencies.
- Documentation and Training: Create and update documentation for graphic systems and generate SOPs for Tier 2 support.
- Design and Implementation: Document and train for new projects, ensuring smooth transitions for Tier 2 support.
- Participation in COE Meetings: Attend meetings to track issues, discuss new projects, and define technologies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Broadcasting Equipment: Strong experience with live production equipment and knowledge of 2D and 3D graphic systems.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Methodical approach to resolving issues in both lab and support environments.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Communication: Strong skills to collaborate effectively across the organization.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of implementing cloud-based production solutions.
Working Conditions
This role is onsite, meaning all working hours and days will be carried out at the workplace. WBD reserves the right to adjust this working agreement as necessary for business needs.
