Your Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for both students and staff. Your daily tasks will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining all areas, including classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal spaces to a high standard.
- Vacuuming carpeted areas and wet mopping hard floors to ensure spotless surfaces.
- Emptying bins, replenishing consumables like hand soap and towels, and managing waste disposal effectively.
- Following COSHH guidelines and health and safety procedures, using appropriate PPE and colour-coded equipment.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns promptly to your supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You have previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school, office, or commercial environment.
- You understand health and safety practices, including COSHH regulations and the safe use of cleaning equipment.
- You are reliable, thorough, and take pride in delivering high-quality results.
- You can work independently while being a supportive team member.
- You’re comfortable following cleaning schedules and maintaining attention to detail.
