Position: School Administrator
Salary: £21,257.48
Contract: Term Time Only
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Ruddington, Nottinghamshire

Your Role and Responsibilities

As our School Administrator, you will be the welcoming face of Easthorpe School, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reception Duties:
    • Manage phone calls and messages with a friendly demeanor.
    • Ensure visitor safety by managing sign-ins and badges.
    • Maintain the shared calendar and keep school information up to date.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Assist the Headteacher and management team with various administrative tasks.
    • Produce letters, manage filing, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
    • Input and manage data on our MIS platform, Ed:gen.
    • Organize school meetings and maintain accurate records of attendance.
  • Attendance Monitoring:
    • Track and report on pupil attendance and punctuality.
    • Communicate with parents regarding absenteeism and attendance expectations.
    • Analyze attendance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with Ed:gen and CPOMS.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
