We are recruiting a Cleaner at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 7.5
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 01/07/2027
Location: Risca
Team: Building Cleaning

This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation.

We pay an attractive salary of £13.47 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.

Do you take pride in creating clean, safe and welcoming environments? We're looking for reliable, motivated individuals to join our dedicated Building Cleaning team.

As a Cleaner, you'll play an essential role in maintaining high standards across our schools, offices and public buildings. Your work helps ensure that staff, pupils and visitors enjoy a clean, hygienic and comfortable space every day.

In this role, you'll work independently or as part of a team to deliver cleaning tasks in line with our Operations Manual.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Keeping designated areas clean, safe and hygienic
  • Carrying out routine tasks such as mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces and emptying waste
  • Cleaning washrooms, windows and other key areas as required
