Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are excited to invite a passionate Application Manager to join our dynamic Technology team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will report directly to the Product Support Manager and play a pivotal role in our European Technology team.

Your Role

As the European Application Manager, you will collaborate closely with Global and European Technology leadership and process owners across various markets. Your mission? To ensure that our product operations run smoothly and efficiently, maximizing application uptime and swiftly restoring any service disruptions.

In this role, you will:

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to share key service information.
  • Ensure the right level of service is delivered to meet business objectives.
  • Gather feedback and continuously improve processes and technical inputs.

We offer a hybrid working contract, requiring you to be in the office in Ashford, Kent or Hemel Hempstead 3 times per week. Flexibility with travel and commuting for project and team meetings is essential.

Fluency in English and French is a must, along with a willingness to travel within Europe as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily incoming cases and incidents related to applications.
  • Act as an incident manager for priority 2 and 3 incidents.
  • Plan and coordinate ongoing IT activities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Provide technical expertise and contribute to working groups.
  • Oversee system maintenance, minor development, patching, and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR, Cybersecurity).
  • Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
  • Engage with vendors for continuous improvement and monitoring.
  • Lead stakeholder coordination in IT and functional areas.
  • Conduct functional and non-functional testing.
  • Support user acceptance testing planning and execution.
  • Create and maintain system documentation.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on systems.
  • Participate in an on-call rota as required.

About You

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Technical knowledge of application development and maintenance (patching, bug fixes, upgrades).
  • Understanding of application and integration layers, including dependencies between technical components.
  • Familiarity with ITIL V4, O365, IT security requirements, and Risk Management.
  • Experience in writing technical documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and European teams.
  • Competence in driving and leading initiatives independently and collaboratively.
