Are you ready to take your IT career to the next level? Sysco is on the lookout for a passionate IT Services Engineer to join our dynamic onsite team in Warrington. Reporting to the Services Engineer Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering top-notch technical support to our end users.
In this exciting position, you’ll provide both onsite and remote 2nd line support, ensuring our colleagues receive the exceptional service they deserve. Your friendly and professional demeanor will shine as you assist users with their technology needs.
This role is based at our Warrington depot, with travel required to Wigan, Ewloe, and Bodelwyddan. Flexibility is key, as you’ll be supporting multiple locations!
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver both onsite and remote 2nd line support for end-users.
- Prioritize your workload to maintain excellent service levels.
- Manage and resolve incidents and service requests through our helpdesk ticketing system.
- Proactively replace end-of-life assets, ensuring proper disposal or recycling.
- Conduct IT inductions for new starters, equipping them with the necessary hardware and software.
- Administer mobile devices via an MDM platform and manage SIM card connections.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware, including laptops, desktops, printers, and networking equipment.
- Ensure all changes comply with change management guidelines and policies.
- Support projects to facilitate the deployment of new technologies.
About You:
We’re looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of IT security, infrastructure, and service standards. Your technical expertise should include:
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Windows 10 and 11, Teams, Office 365, and Azure.
- Experience with MDM platforms like Endpoint Manager (Intune).
- Knowledge of networking (Wireless, LAN, and WAN).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus.
- Attention to detail for maintaining accurate inventory data and documentation.
- Experience supporting networked printers and troubleshooting hardware and applications.
- Understanding of Active Directory and Azure AD administration.
Having an ITIL V3/V4 foundation certificate and experience with service delivery frameworks is a big plus!
