Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Sysco is on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic Enterprise Services Team (HR, Finance, and Legal) on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. You’ll be reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager and playing a pivotal role in driving technology initiatives that align with our strategic goals.

In this exciting position, you will lead projects across Europe, collaborating with both internal and external resources in a matrix organization. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our projects not only meet business outcomes but also transition smoothly into Business As Usual (BAU) operations.

Your Role in Project Delivery

As a key player in the project delivery lifecycle, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, planning, and managing the delivery of project requirements while maintaining scope and objectives.
  • Ensuring adherence to governance standards, including project delivery methodology and RAID logs.
  • Staying updated on business change opportunities and translating prioritized project ideas into clear technology scopes for approval.
  • Defining and managing effective communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Creating and controlling project budgets while managing resources to ensure adequate capacity and timelines.
  • Successfully implementing changes into BAU operations, meeting project success criteria.
  • Managing and escalating risks, issues, and dependencies while engaging with stakeholders up to the executive level.

About You

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • End-to-end IT Project Management experience in delivering complex technical projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Change management experience, with a proven track record of deploying technologies across multiple sites using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • A solid understanding of business processes and stakeholder management, along with experience managing multiple third-party system integrators.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • The ability to negotiate and build consensus while influencing team members.
  • Knowledge of functional areas such as production, warehouse, merchandising, and finance.
