Your Role

As our new SEN Class Teacher, you will lead a small, bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant. Your mission will be to plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Inspiring and motivating pupils through engaging and imaginative presentations
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and professionals to uphold high educational standards
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing regular feedback to all stakeholders
  • Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance pupil engagement
  • Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating learning environment
  • Adhering to all school policies and procedures in line with our core values

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Proven experience in SEN teaching
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to every pupil's success

Please note that the successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
