Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm

Nestled in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, ISP School is dedicated to providing specialist education for children aged 7-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs.

Your Role
We are on the lookout for an inspirational qualified teacher who has experience working with vulnerable children across Key Stages 3 and 4. If you are passionate about teaching Science, Maths, and the wider curriculum, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Teach at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of your students
- Utilize our positive behaviour policy to help children become responsible citizens
- Inspire a love of learning and motivate students to thrive
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Successful teaching experience
- Experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly with SEMH and ASC needs
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum, especially in Science and/or Maths
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A reflective practitioner who embraces continuous improvement
- Understanding of therapeutic approaches to education
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Proven track record of delivering dynamic and engaging lessons
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will undergo an enhanced DBS check, with costs covered by ISP School Battle.
