Role: Supervising Social Worker
Basic Salary: Up to £38,616.92 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Office Location: Chorley (Home-based with a caseload supporting foster parents in Manchester and surrounding areas)

Your Role Will Include:
- Supporting foster parents to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in care
- Monitoring the suitability and competence of foster parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment
- Providing clear guidance on fostering tasks and expectations
- Conducting regular supervision in line with FCA's Operational Standards
- Collaborating with the child's network to identify needs and resources
- Ensuring compliance with all key documentation for children and foster parents
- Attending meetings and providing reports for commissioning teams
- Encouraging participation of children/young people in agency development
- Participating in an out-of-hours support service on a rota basis
- Occasionally conducting initial home visits and Form F assessments
What You Need to Bring:
- A Social Work qualification
- Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent
- Proven ability to produce high-quality reports
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures
- Willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays
- Confidence in transporting children in challenging situations
- Full driving licence
