At ISP School, nestled in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, we are on a mission to provide exceptional education for children aged 7-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs. Your Role

We are seeking an inspirational qualified teacher who is passionate about working with vulnerable children across Key Stages 3 and 4. If you have a knack for engaging students in Science, Maths, and the wider curriculum, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and inspire students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Plan, prepare, and present lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of your class.
• Utilize our positive behaviour policy to foster responsibility and accountability among students.
• Motivate children to embrace learning and develop a lifelong love for education.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven teaching experience, particularly with children who have SEMH and ASC needs.
• A solid understanding of the national curriculum, especially in Science and/or Maths.
• Excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective approach to teaching.
• Knowledge of therapeutic educational approaches and the ability to adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
• A track record of delivering dynamic and engaging lessons.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, term-time only position with hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The role is permanent, offering stability and the chance to grow with our dedicated team.
