At Area Camden, we are on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our established 3-bed children's home in London. Your Responsibilities

As our Registered Manager, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children aged 9-17 with complex emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
  • Lead and mentor staff, fostering a child-centered approach to care.
  • Maintain robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency collaboration.
  • Drive continuous improvement in line with Area Camden's ethos and standards.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Leadership and Management qualification (or a willingness to work towards one) and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and Care Standards Act 2000.
  • Experience managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for children's care and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week. You will manage your own rota and participate in the on-call rota. We are committed to creating a safe and stable environment for our children, and your leadership will play a crucial role in achieving this.
