Your Role

As the Supervisor Plus, you will be the main point of contact for your team, driving operational success and maintaining high standards across the department. Reporting to the Manager, you will:

  • Ensure daily operational plans are fulfilled.
  • Guide your team to manage fluctuating guest demand while maintaining top-notch service.
  • Primarily cover accommodation on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility to support other departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, you will:

  • Lead your team in achieving key targets, including retail upselling and add-on sales.
  • Conduct CAFF audits and other departmental audits to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor guest experiences and feedback, taking action to enhance satisfaction.
  • Coach and develop your team to meet departmental goals.
  • Champion Butlin’s Values and Leadership Behaviours.
  • Foster strong relationships across the resort and with central support teams.

Key Focus Areas Outside of Accommodation

In addition to your accommodation responsibilities, you will also support our Restaurants and Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs) by:

  • Championing Food Safety: Lead by example in applying food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Delivering a Warm, Welcoming Experience: Ensure every guest feels valued and well looked after.
  • Coaching & Developing the Team: Provide on-shift coaching to enhance guest interaction and service flow.
  • Driving Upselling: Encourage the team to recommend starters, desserts, and add-ons.
  • Increasing Wet Sales: Ensure quick beverage service and proactive drink suggestions.
  • Effective Checkbacks: Confirm guest satisfaction and empower team members to resolve issues.
  • Celebrating Success: Recognize and share great performances to build a motivated team culture.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Excellent leadership skills with a knack for coaching and supporting your team.
  • Strong attention to detail for audit and observation activities.
  • Experience in guest-facing roles, handling queries and complaints effectively.
  • A proven track record in driving sales and promotions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
