The Role

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. You will:

• Teach a small bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a Teaching Assistant.
• Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities.
• Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative presentations.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure high educational standards.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to all stakeholders.
• Utilize diverse teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement and learning.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
• Adhere to all school policies and procedures in line with our values.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess:

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
• Successful experience in SEN teaching.
• A solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to every pupil's success.

Please note that the successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
