If you have a passion for coffee and a love for people, we want to hear from you! The Supervisor Plus role at Butlin’s is an exciting new opportunity that puts you at the heart of our operations. As the main point of contact for your team, you’ll ensure that our high standards are met and that compliance is always top-notch.

Your Role

Reporting to the Manager, you will be the operational driver of success, ensuring that daily plans are executed flawlessly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating team tasks to meet fluctuating guest demands.
  • Covering accommodation primarily on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility to support other departments as needed.
  • Coaching and supporting your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Driving key targets such as add-on sales and promotions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Supervisor Plus, you will:

  • Be hands-on in ensuring your team is effective in all key tasks.
  • Conduct CAFF audits in accommodation and other departmental audits.
  • Monitor guest experiences and capture feedback to improve service.
  • Champion communication within your area, ensuring plans are executed effectively.
  • Support the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to performance management.

Beyond Accommodation

In addition to your accommodation duties, you will also enhance the guest experience in our Restaurants and Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs) by:

  • Championing Food Safety: Lead by example in applying food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Delivering a Warm Experience: Ensure every guest feels welcomed and supported.
  • Coaching & Developing the Team: Provide on-shift coaching to enhance service flow and guest interaction.
  • Driving Upselling: Encourage the team to recommend starters, desserts, and add-ons.
  • Increasing Wet Sales: Ensure quick drinks service and proactive suggestions.
  • Effective Checkbacks: Confirm guest satisfaction and empower team members to resolve issues.
  • Celebrating Success: Recognize and share great performances to build a motivated team culture.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent leadership skills with a knack for coaching.
  • Strong attention to detail for audits and observations.
  • Experience in guest-facing roles and handling queries or complaints.
  • A proven track record in driving sales and promotions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
